Choose your background music and spoken language before finishing an episode.

## Music speech and captions

### Add background music

Music is optional. You can use a **Sound pack**, open **Score**, or ask Coach to **Add music** before finishing. You can also ask for no music.

A Sound pack sets musical direction; selecting it doesn’t instantly create a track. On-demand **Compose/Recompose the score** is a separate paid action—check its Gem quote.

### Choose the spoken language

Open **Edit series → Dialogue language**, or tell Coach which language you want.

Typing a request in a language doesn’t automatically set the spoken language. Changing this setting guides future renders; it doesn’t change audio already generated.

### Captions and speech

Spoken language and caption language are separate. Review the dialogue and the available caption options for your episode. Refreshing the app doesn’t rewrite captions already published.

## Report a voice or audio problem

Tell [Support](/help-and-account/account-and-support.md#contact-mochi-support) the affected series, episode or scene and what sounds wrong: a character speaking on screen, narration or inner voice, missing lines, overlapping speech, the wrong voice/accent/language, or background music. Name the affected character when relevant. If the scene preview sounds different from the finished episode, include that distinction.

A changed voice does not need an error message to be worth reporting. If you already chose music or generated a score and it is missing, mention that too. If the same problem repeats, pause retries of that issue and contact Support before spending more Gems. Changes to scripts, voice setup or settings do not update footage already rendered.
