Rewards and referrals — Mochi Help Center Earn Gems through eligible referrals, creator quests and community activity. Check the offer in Mochi for current amounts and limits. ## Starter Gems and your first-scene quest Eligible new creators can claim **50 starter Gems** through the welcome quest. Character and location drawings use Gems, so they can reduce your balance before you render a first scene. For example, three 8-Gem character drawings and one 6-Gem location drawing use 30 Gems, leaving 20 from a 50-Gem starter balance. The **30-Gem first-scene quest reward is earned after completing the qualifying first scene**. It is not an upfront grant to pay for that render. Check **Creator quests** for the current task, eligibility and claim status. If the scene is already completed and playable but the quest still shows incomplete, **do not render it again**. Tell [Support](/help-and-account/account-and-support.md#contact-mochi-support) which quest and scene are affected and what the claim screen shows. Completion, eligibility to claim and Gems reaching your balance are separate steps. If you are using a guest account, preserve that account and its app data while Support reviews the reward. ## Daily login: Coins and Gem milestones Daily login awards **Coins**, with additional **Gem rewards on specific days** of the current seven-day cycle: **5 Gems on day 2, 5 Gems on day 4 and 10 Gems on day 7**. Check the reward shown in Mochi and its claim status. Coins and Gems are separate balances; **Coins cannot be converted into Gems**. ## Invite friends and claim referral Gems 1. Open **Profile → Creator quests → Invite friends**. 2. Share your invite with a friend. 3. Your friend must use the invite and sign in to Mochi with **Google or Apple**. Guest use alone doesn’t qualify. 4. Return to Creator quests and tap **Claim** when a reward is ready. The referral offer awards **50 Gems per qualifying friend**, subject to its displayed limits. A “friends joined” count isn’t necessarily the number of claimable rewards. You can earn referral rewards for up to 10 qualifying friends in any rolling seven-day period. Each referral stops counting toward this limit seven days after it qualifies, freeing one slot. There is no fixed weekly reset. If a reward is pending, check whether your friend completed sign-in and whether you’ve reached this limit. Don’t create extra accounts or repeat sign-ups to trigger a reward. If a completed referral still needs review, provide the friend’s **Mochi username or profile link** in your existing support conversation. If the friend has already signed in or the invitation still has not linked after a retry, keep the report in that conversation. Don’t create another account or keep repeating sign-in to force a reward. Support will review eligibility and attribution; a correction is not automatically a wallet credit. Never share passwords or sign-in codes. ## Public views, milestones and leaderboard views Your series' displayed views show total plays. **Gem rewards use eligible views**, so reward progress may be lower. Eligibility checks help keep rewards fair. ### View milestones Milestones track eligible lifetime views **for each series separately**. Views from different series do not combine toward a milestone, and progress does not reset each week. Check **Creator quests → View milestones** for your reward progress. **1K means 1,000 eligible views on one series, which earns 10 Gems.** A series displaying 1K total plays may not have reached that reward threshold yet. If your milestone progress shows the threshold has been reached but you cannot claim it, tell [Support](/help-and-account/account-and-support.md#contact-mochi-support) the series title and what the claim screen shows. ## How creator leaderboards and weekly Gem rewards work Open **Community → Leaderboard** to view the Creators and Series boards. ### Rankings and rewards Creator rankings use eligible views across your published community series during the leaderboard period. These can differ from the lifetime views displayed on your series. The live board covers a rolling seven days. Weekly prizes are based on the final standings for a completed calendar week, starting Monday at **00:00 UTC**. Your live rank is not a confirmed prize. Claim a settled prize from **Creator Quests → Weekly payout → Claim**. Check the app for the applicable prize bands. ### What does “Earned this week” mean? It’s the reward Gems already credited during the week—not another payment due at the end of it. Purchased Gems are separate. For example, if you earn 100 Gems and spend 30, your earned total can still show 100. Resetting the weekly counter doesn’t remove Gems from your wallet. ### Eligible content Sexual or sexually suggestive content isn’t eligible for leaderboard participation or rewards. Publication, a content warning or a purchased pack doesn’t establish eligibility. Read the [Content guidelines](/create-and-publish/content-guidelines.md) for mature-content review and publishing requirements. ## How community character Gem rewards work An eligible paid cast of your published community character into another creator’s series earns you **3 Gems automatically**. The caster pays **8 Gems**. The reward is per character and destination series—not per scene, episode or view. Reusing the character in the same series doesn’t create another casting reward. To qualify: * The caster must be signed in and have a purchase history or an account at least 24 hours old. * Self-casts, guest casts and same-device self-use don’t qualify. * Up to 3 casts from the same caster to the same creator can earn rewards per UTC day. * A creator can earn up to 90 casting Gems per UTC day. These earnings go directly to your balance. The caster’s community-casting quest and weekly leaderboard prizes are separate rewards.
