# Fix a creation problem

Find your next step when a scene does not work.

Start with the scene’s actual status and the setup saved in the editor.

## My scene or episode is stuck or failed

* **Queued or processing:** let the current job complete. Don’t submit the same action repeatedly.
* **Failed:** read the error, check the scene setup and follow any requested clarification.
* **Retry:** review the Gem quote first; it can start a new generation.

Check the scene or episode card rather than relying only on a Coach chat message. Don’t delete or reset a project to release a stuck job.

## My scene has the wrong character, dialogue, or language

1. Open the correct series, episode and scene.
2. Compare the clip with **Script**, **Cast in this scene**, selected looks and **Location**.
3. For spoken language, check **Edit series → Dialogue language**.
4. Save a clear revision and review it before deciding to render again.

Existing footage doesn’t change when you edit the script or references. AI results can vary, especially with larger casts or several actions in one scene.

Before generating again, check whether **Trim** or an available earlier take in **Versions** already solves the problem.

## Coach replied, but no editable scene card appeared

A chat reply saying a scene was drafted does not confirm that the card saved. Tell Support the series, episode and scene you expected, the exact message or reference shown, and any steps already tried. If shortening the description or reopening already failed, say so; don’t repeat it or pay for a render just to diagnose the missing card. Preserve your existing scenes and writing.

## Episodes are in the wrong viewing order

Send Support the series and desired order using episode titles or numbers. The team can review the existing episode records as a technical correction request. Don’t delete scenes or pay to rerender just to change episode order. A review does not guarantee that every requested correction is possible.

## Mochi says I have reopened an episode too many times

A finished episode can be reopened up to **5 times per UTC day**. The allowance resets at **00:00 UTC**.

If you opened it without making edits, use **Close · no changes** when offered. An untouched close returns that same-day reopening allowance. Editing and finishing again can still count.

## When to contact support

If a job remains stuck, the same technical error repeats or saved work is missing, keep the project and pause paid retries. Send the affected series, episode or scene, expected versus actual result, exact message or reference, and steps already tried through [Support](/help-and-account/account-and-support.md#contact-mochi-support).
