Platform fit
Mochi is built for anime and stylized short-form storytelling.
- Visual style: anime, animation, or a clearly stylized illustrated format; no live action
- Orientation: 9:16 vertical is the standard format
- Episode length: 60–90 seconds is the standard target for the assembled episode. Individual generated scene clips can be shorter; check the clip length in Mochi.
- Language: English dialogue, or accurate English captions for non-English dialogue
- Captions: for Mochi Lab uploads with dialogue or narration, prepare a matching SRT file or use an available subtitle-generation option and review the result. For episodes created in the app, review the captions produced during Finish.

Creative quality
Mochi does not require a specific plot structure, pace, twist, trope, or archetype. We review whether the work feels intentional and ready for an audience.
Creative packs are optional direction for your series. A Story pack or Beat card can help shape a moment, but its suggested structure is not an approval requirement. See How Packs Work and Scene Creation Guide for creation guidance.
